US Air Force Achieves Historic Milestone: First LRASM Missile Launched from B-2 Aircraft

The US Air Force announced that it has successfully launched a long-range LRASM anti-ship missile from a B-2 Spirit strategic bomber aircraft for the first time.
According to a statement by the Pacific Air Force, a recent military exercise in the northern Mariana Islands tested the sinking of a target ship using the B-2 aircraft.
The operation utilized the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, which employed the low-radar-profile AGM-158C LRASM (Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile).
The launch of the LRASM missile from the B-2 Spirit bomber represents a significant step forward in the Pacific Air Force's ability to counter maritime threats.
