The US Department of Transportation has launched the 'Freedom Carriers' campaign, which aims to employ veterans as truck drivers.
In a statement from the Department of Transportation, it was stated that this initiative, launched to support American truck drivers against foreign drivers, will increase the period during which veterans can apply for an accelerated truck driver's license, allowing them to obtain their licenses in weeks instead of months, through the 'Even Exchange Program'.
The statement also mentioned that with the participation of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, and Wyoming in the Even Exchange program, the number of states participating in the program has reached 34.
