Turkey's National Men's Basketball Team Faces Bosnia and Herzegovina

Turkey's National Men's Basketball Team is preparing to face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the FIBA 2027 World Cup European Qualifiers.
The match against Bosnia and Herzegovina is crucial for Turkey, which has won all four matches in the C Group and has advanced to the second round.
National Team coach Ergin Ataman stated that the team's performance against the opponent's high-pressure game will be decisive, particularly for the playmakers.
The National Team will enter the match with 8 points as the leader of the C Group. The match will be played at the Husejin Smajlovic Arena in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on July 2, 2026, at 21:00, and will be broadcast live on TRT 1.
Coach Ergin Ataman said, 'We are ready. We have been preparing for about 10 days. It will be a tough match because Bosnia and Herzegovina also has experienced players and will create a serious atmosphere on their home court.'
Ataman added, 'Our playmakers will play a crucial role. Bosnia and Herzegovina plays a high-pressure game at home. They constantly press and do not allow easy organization of the ball.'
National Team captain Cedi Osman stated that they will face a tough match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying, 'Of course, we are expecting a tough match. We will be competing against a team that plays with high energy in front of their fans.'
National playmaker Kenan Sipahi said that their goal is to win the remaining two matches in the group and complete the first stage undefeated.
Furkan Korkmaz stated that they had a short but productive preparation period, and the team's ability to play together is a significant advantage.
Adem Bona said that they approach every match as a final, stating, 'Every match is important for us.'
