New Directive to Strengthen Fight Against Organized Crime in 81 Provinces

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced that a new directive titled 'Fight Against Organized Crime' has been sent to 81 provinces. Gürlek stated that investigations will be conducted by expert prosecutors and will target not only the perpetrators of organized crime but also their managers, instigators, and financial resources. Zero tolerance will be applied to the exploitation of children and young people.In the fight against organized crime, continuous coordination will be maintained with law enforcement agencies. When necessary, multiple prosecutors will be assigned. Minister Gürlek emphasized that the financial resources of criminal organizations, including cryptocurrency and illegal betting, will also be targeted.
