Telemedicine Service Launched in 81 Provinces

To facilitate access to preventive healthcare services, the Ministry of Health has launched the Remote Patient Assessment System (UHDS) application in Healthy Life Centers across 81 provinces.With this system, citizens can create direct appointments for active branches through the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS). Individuals who create appointments can have video consultations with healthcare professionals from their location without visiting the Healthy Life Center via the link sent in the short message. The system will provide psychological support, smoking cessation clinic, and social support services through remote access.Dr. Zeynep Aydemir Güven, who works at the Ministry of Health Sincan 100. Yıl Healthy Life Center, stated that the system provides significant convenience, especially in services that require regular follow-up. Güven emphasized that the application provides equal opportunity for access to healthcare services for the elderly, people with disabilities, those in need of care, and citizens living in rural areas.
