36th NATO Summit Day 2: Leaders Gather for Main Session

The 36th NATO Summit, hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, continued in Ankara today with the main session.
The main session started at 11:15 am, with President Erdoğan and the NATO Secretary-General welcoming the leaders in an official ceremony. Following the family photo shoot, the leaders' meeting began.
The summit brought together the heads of state and government of 32 countries, numerous invited leaders, around 100 ministers, and many diplomats and representatives of international organizations.
President Erdoğan met with the Canadian Prime Minister as part of the summit. He also held a closed meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
As part of the NATO Summit, a reception and dinner were held in honor of the heads of state and government and their spouses at the Presidential Complex. President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan welcomed the attending leaders and their spouses.
