Two Questions Cancelled in 2026-YKS

An important announcement was made by ÖSYM for the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (2026-YKS). The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced that two questions were cancelled in the 2026-YKS and the evaluation processes were carried out.

The item analyses of the 2026-YKS applied on June 20-21, 2026, have been examined, the controls of the answer keys have been completed, and the objections have been evaluated scientifically, and it has been decided to cancel the 20th question in the Turkish Language and Literature-Social Sciences-1 Test Basic Question Booklet of the 2026-YKS 2nd Session Field Competency Tests applied on June 21, 2026, and the 23rd question in the Mathematics Test Basic Question Booklet was cancelled due to a court decision and the evaluation processes were carried out.

In the statement on ÖSYM's website, it was stated that the item analyses of the 2026-YKS were examined, the controls of the answer keys were completed, and the objections were evaluated scientifically.
