Total Solar Eclipse 2026: When and Where to Watch

One of the most significant celestial events of the year, the Total Solar Eclipse, will occur on August 12, 2026. Today, August 12, Wednesday, the Solar Eclipse will take place. The countries from which the Total Eclipse can be observed include Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, northern Spain, and northern Portugal. Partial visibility will be possible in the northern and western parts of Europe and the North Atlantic route. Since the path of totality does not pass through Turkey, the event cannot be directly observed from within the country. However, NASA and international astronomy organizations will broadcast the eclipse live on the internet starting at 20:15 TSİ.
