15-Year-Old National Athlete Kardelen Çarpar Wins Silver Medal at World Championship

The 15-year-old talented national athlete from Tekirdağ, Kardelen Çarpar, won the silver medal in the apnea discipline at the Freediving Pool World Championship, becoming the world's second-best.Kardelen started freediving last year on her friend's advice and was selected for the national team with 2 gold and 2 silver medals at the Freediving Pool Turkey Championship and National Team Selection in Tekirdağ in April. At the Freediving Pool World Championship held in Serbia last month, the young athlete represented Turkey and won the silver medal in the apnea discipline in her first world championship.National athlete Kardelen Çarpar stated that the world championship was both exciting and educational for her.
