10-Year Red Notice Ends: Karatepe Brought to Justice

Burkay Karatepe, a FETÖ member involved in the assassination attempt on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the July 15 coup attempt, has been apprehended after a 10-year red notice.Karatepe, who participated in the Marmaris suikast attempt, was finally caught in Afyonkarahisar.Following a joint operation coordinated by the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Karatepe was brought to Muğla and processed by the Muğla Police Department's Counter-Terrorism (TEM) Unit.After giving his statement at the TEM Unit, Karatepe was taken to court under heavy security measures.
