In the event of damage resulting from traffic insurance, the parties involved in the accident will submit their damage claims to the insurance company first. If the damage to the vehicle exceeds one-tenth of the material coverage amount of the traffic insurance, the damage assessment will be made by experts.
As of July 1, the value loss compensation paid by traffic insurance to vehicles that are damaged in an accident without being at fault will also change. Accordingly, the material damage and value loss compensation will be calculated simultaneously.
In the event of a traffic accident, if the damage to the insured vehicle is severe or total, the damage assessment will be mandatory made by an expert.
If the original part damaged in a traffic accident cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with an original part.
If the damaged vehicle has been deemed to have suffered severe damage as per the expert report, compensation will not be paid unless a certified document stating that the vehicle has been removed from traffic is submitted to the insurer.
Photographs and images of the damaged vehicle and the accident scene will be included in the vehicle damage and value loss compensation.
As of July 1, individuals who apply for damage to the insurance company must provide their mobile phone number registered in the e-Government system to the insurance company.
When taking out a traffic insurance policy, citizens will be required to provide their mobile phone number registered in the e-Government system.
