Rainy weather is coming: Yellow alert for 5 cities

Rain showers will be effective in a large part of Turkey from noon. Yellow-coded rain warnings have been issued for Artvin, Ordu, Trabzon, Giresun, and Rize. According to the Meteorology General Directorate's July 5 weather forecast, Thrace, the Mediterranean (excluding the inner parts of Kahramanmaraş and Hatay), Central Anatolia (excluding Sivas), the Black Sea (excluding Bayburt), and the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia (excluding Erzurum and Ardahan) are expected to be rainy and stormy. It is expected that the rains will be heavy in some areas, including the western Mediterranean, the eastern Black Sea coast, the Denizli region, and the western part of Konya, and that there may be flash floods, flooding, lightning, disruptions in transportation, local hail, and strong winds during the rain.
