FIFA to Investigate Brawl Following World Cup Final

Following the World Cup final match where Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in extra time, the ensuing brawl on the field will be investigated by FIFA. FIFA has launched a disciplinary investigation into the incidents that occurred after the final match between Spain and Argentina. A Disciplinary and Ethics Prosecutor has been appointed to investigate possible breaches under the FIFA Disciplinary Code. The match saw Argentina finish with 10 players after Enzo Fernandez received a second yellow card, leading to a red card, in the extra time. After the final whistle, a dispute between Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes and Spanish players escalated into a brawl involving players from both teams.
